For kids ages 7-12 years old

Your child’s mindset shapes everything -how they learn, handle challenges, build relationships, and see themselves.

When negative self-talk, fear of failure, or big emotions take over, it can feel overwhelming for both kids and parents. You want to help - but it’s not always clear how.

My Daily Journal 2.0 was created to support children ages 7–12 in building confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience - while also learning how their body and nervous system play a powerful role in how they feel and respond to the world.

Through simple, daily practices (in under 5 minutes!), children begin to understand:

  • How their body sends them signals

  • How emotions show up physically

  • And how to respond in ways that help them feel calm, safe, and in control

🧠 A Kid-Friendly Introduction to the Nervous System

What makes this journal different?

My Daily Journal 2.0 gently introduces nervous system awareness in a way kids can actually understand.

Children learn:

  • Their body is always sending them “clues” through sensations

  • Feelings aren’t random - they have signals (tight chest, butterflies, energy, etc.)

  • Their nervous system moves through different states (calm, energized, overwhelmed)

Using a simple “stoplight” framework (green, yellow, red), kids begin to:

  • Recognize what state they’re in

  • Understand that all states are normal

  • Learn tools to help themselves shift back to calm

This builds the foundation for self-regulation, emotional intelligence, and confidence - skills they’ll use for life.
